On a daily basis pride of place is certainly given to extra virgin olive oil, produced here in the Chianti hills, as to the delicious meats of central Tuscany, the game, the goat’s and sheep’s cheeses made by expert hands, the cold cuts from Pratomagno, the fish from San Vincenzo and the wonderfully fresh vegetables, all at the base of my dishes.Every day the Ristorante Il Pievano prepares home made bread; with spelt, cereal, tomato, and grissini and crackers, home made pasta as well as cakes and croissants and all the baked goods for our breakfasts.
The careful presentation of our dishes is harmonized with an excellent selection of house- produced wines, supported by an ample selection of prestigious national and international labels, making our restaurant’s offer truly complete.

"La Terrazza", restaurant is only open for lunch proposing a “light” break in the informal inn or on the terrace overlooking two Sangiovese vine yarded hectares of the castle’s land. The cuisine and quality of raw materials are of highest level, although used for preparing “simple” and light dishes. The wine list is the same of the "Il Pievano" restaurant and features about 500 labels with a wide selection of Chianti wines, without neglecting most important Tuscan, National and International labels.
"Il Pievano" restaurant is open every night and consists of two indoor halls - Sala dei Papi and Sala degli Arazzi- and of the cloister before the parish Church of Santa Maria a Spaltenna where it is possible to enjoy a candlelit dinner in a charming atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo Guarino is inspired by a cuisine linked to the territory to create and match unique dishes which change according to the season and are presented with a professional, attentive and friendly service.
